About Us

awburn was founded in January 2026 by me, Andrew Bisante. I’m 34 and was born and raised in Toronto, Canada.

I’ve always loved candles and wax melts — not just for how they smell, but for the comfort, atmosphere, and calm they bring into a space. Over time, that appreciation turned into a desire to create products that felt better to use and aligned with my values.

Every awburn candle is hand-poured and made with the intention of being cruelty-free, vegan, chemical-free, and all-natural, without sacrificing scent quality or experience. I focus on keeping things simple, thoughtful, and honest — from the ingredients to the final product.

Alongside candles and wax melts, there are future plans to include a wider range of all-natural products such as soaps, bath bombs, and lip balms, all made with the same care and philosophy behind awburn.
