What ingredients do you use?

How should I care for my candle?
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before lighting. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface. Never burn for more than 4 hours and never leave unattended.

Why does my candle look slightly different?
Natural wax and hand-pouring can cause minor variations in appearance. This is normal and does not affect performance.
How long should I burn my candle the first time?
The first burn sets the memory of the wax. Allow the melt pool to reach the full edge of the vessel before extinguishing — typically 2–3 hours for an 8 oz candle. Ending a burn too soon can cause the wax to tunnel down the centre on subsequent burns.
What is tunneling, and how do I prevent it?
Tunneling happens when the wax burns straight down rather than melting wall-to-wall, leaving a thick ring of unused wax. It is almost always caused by short burn sessions. To prevent it, give each burn enough time to achieve a full, even melt pool before extinguishing. If tunneling has already started, try a longer burn session on your next use to help the pool catch up.
How do I trim the wick, and why does it matter?
Trim the wick to ¼ inch (about 6 mm) before every burn — including the first. A trimmed wick produces a cleaner, steadier flame, reduces soot, and helps the candle burn more evenly. A wick that is too long can cause a high flame, excess smoke, or uneven melting. A simple wick trimmer or small scissors works well.
How long can I burn my candle in one session?
For best results and safe use, limit each burn session to a maximum of 4 hours. Burning beyond this can cause the vessel to overheat and may affect wick and wax performance. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
Why does my candle's scent throw seem stronger at some times than others?
Scent throw varies based on room size, airflow, and burn conditions. A full, even melt pool generally produces the best cold and hot throw. Burning in a smaller, less drafty space will concentrate the fragrance. Note that scent perception also varies naturally from person to person.
How do I use awburn wax melts?
Place one or two wax melt pieces in a clean, dry wax warmer. Use an electric warmer or a tea-light warmer designed for wax melts — never melt wax directly over an open flame on an unintended surface. Replace the wax when the scent fades; the wax itself does not evaporate and can be discarded safely once cooled and solidified. Keep the warmer dish clean between uses for best results.
